Login with username and code (Xtream Codes): channels, TV guide, archive, and movies without links

Xtream Codes is a connection method where the player receives not a link to the playlist, but the server address, username, and password, and then loads channels by groups, the TV guide, archive, and movies from the media library itself. It is supported by TiviMate, OTT Navigator, IPTV Smarters, XCIPTV, Televizo, GSE, and most applications for set-top boxes, phones, and Smart TVs.

What you will need

  • An Utgard TV account with an active package or a trial for 2 hours.
  • Three values from the “Xtream Codes” block in the “Playlist” section of your cabinet: server http://xc.tv.utgard.tv, your username and password — a six-digit playlist code.

The password for login is the playlist code (the same as in your M3U link), not the cabinet password.

Why this is better than M3U links

  • The player automatically picks up changes: if you connect a package, channels appear without changing the link.
  • The TV guide and archive on channels with recording work immediately, without separate EPG settings.
  • Movies from the media library open in a separate “Movies” tab — with posters, descriptions, and audio track selection if the media library is included in your subscription.
  • The same login works on TV, set-top box, and phone.

The M3U link is still available: both methods can be used simultaneously.

Step 1. Open the login data

In the cabinet, open “Playlist”: in the “Xtream Codes” block, there are three lines — server, username, and password, each with a “Copy” button. It is most convenient to keep the cabinet open on your phone and enter the values in the app on the TV using the on-screen keyboard.

Step 2. Add the login in the player

TiviMate (Android TV, set-top boxes)

  1. Open “Settings” → “Playlists” → “Add playlist” (the app will suggest this on the first launch).
  2. Select “Xtream Codes”.
  3. Enter a name (for example, Utgard TV), server, username, and password, then click “Next”.
  4. The player will load channels and the TV guide; channels with archive are marked with a recording icon, movies are in the “Movies” section.

OTT Navigator

  1. “Settings” → “Provider” → “Add provider”.
  2. Select the type “Xtream Codes API”.
  3. Enter the server, username, and password and save. Channels, program, and archive will be picked up automatically.

IPTV Smarters Pro (Android, iPhone, and iPad; versions available for Samsung and LG)

  1. On the home screen, select “Login with Xtream Codes API”.
  2. Enter any name, username, password, and server address — in full, including http://.
  3. Click “Add User”: sections Live TV, Movies, and Series will appear.

XCIPTV

  1. On the first launch, select “Xtream Codes API”.
  2. Enter the server, username, and password, then click “Login”.

Televizo

  1. Click “plus” → “Add playlist” and select the type “Xtream Codes”.
  2. Enter the name, server, username, and password, then save.

GSE Smart IPTV (iPhone, iPad)

  1. In the menu, select “Xtream-Codes API” → “Add”.
  2. Enter the name, server, username, and password.

If the player separately asks for a port, specify 80 for http or 443 for https — the address https://xc.tv.utgard.tv also works.

Step 3. What will appear in the player

  • Channels by groups — the same groups as in the playlist: federal, movies, sports, kids, countries.
  • TV guide — “now” and “next” on each channel and a grid for several days ahead.
  • Archive — on channels with recording, you can open the past broadcast directly from the program.
  • Movies — a tab with posters, descriptions in your language, ratings, audio tracks, and subtitles. This appears if the media library is included in the subscription.

If something is not working

  • “Invalid username or password”. The password is the playlist code, not the cabinet password. Check that no space was added when copying and that the server is entered in full, with http://.
  • “Stream unavailable” or “connection limit exceeded”. The limit of screens for your package has been reached: close the viewing on another device or wait a minute. More screens can be added when purchasing a package.
  • No “Movies” tab. The media library is not included in your subscription.
  • No TV guide. The player updates the program once a day — update manually in the provider settings. If the app asks for the EPG address separately, specify http://xc.tv.utgard.tv/xmltv.php?username=USERNAME&password=PASSWORD.
  • Channels are buffering. Connect the device with a cable, enable hardware decoding in the player settings; 5 Mbps is enough for HD, about 25 for 4K.
